Leandro Lujan is a Cuban-born, Miami-based designer with over a decade of experience spanning brand, product, and interior design across both residential and commercial sectors. He holds a Master of Interior Architecture from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the Instituto Superior de Diseño in Havana, Cuba.
After relocating to the United States in 2015, Leandro quickly became immersed in the design industry—first as a furniture and interior designer at Morada Haute Furniture Boutique, and later as a technical designer at Gensler’s Miami office. His work is guided by a strong belief in design as a problem-solving tool—one that fosters meaningful relationships between ideas and the built environment. He is deeply passionate about technology and its evolving role in how we live, work, and play.
After completing his Master’s degree at FIU, Leandro returned to the university as an adjunct professor, teaching in the same program that shaped his transition into interior architecture. This role reflects his commitment to mentoring emerging designers and giving back to the academic community that supported his growth.
Currently, he serves as Director of Operations and Project Lead at G Alvarez Studio, Inc., where he manages project workflows, fosters cross-disciplinary coordination, and partners with firm leadership to drive strategic growth and pursue new business initiatives.
